Intersolar India 2014, one of the leading solar Expos in India, will take place in November 2014 in Mumbai. Intersolar Awards is one of the main attractions of the event, and the nominations for the Intersolar India Awards 2014 are now open. This will be third time the award will be presented at the show in Mumbai in November 2014.
Last year, the innovation prize for Industrial and Commercial Use went to L&T Construction (India) for supplying solar energy to L&T CSTI & CDC Campus in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. Barefoot Power Pty Ltd. (Australia) received the prize in the Off-Grid Solution category for its Solar Weaver Kit, which uses electric lighting to increase productivity in weaving shops. The Intersolar AWARD for Utility-Scale Projects went to Chemtrols Solar Private Limited (India), which constructed India’s first megawatt-range PV diesel-hybrid power plant in Tiripur, Tamil Nadu.
