According to MNRE, the total installed capacity of on-grid PV systems stood at 1044 MW as on 31 August 2012. The total grid-interactive renewable energy capacity in the county was 25,858 MW at the end of August 2012. Interestingly, off-grid PV systems are nearing the 100 MW total installed capacity mark.
