Azure Power has emerged as the lowest bidder in the tender for allocation of 50 MW in Karnataka which was initiated in April 2014(More here). Other winners include KK Rao Engineering Works(3 MW), Bhadresh Trading Corporation(10 MW), Dosti Realty(10 MW), Interocean Shipping India(3 MW), Sharda Construction and Corporation(4 MW) and Emami Power(10 MW). The unsuccessful bidders are NVR Solar Pvt Ltd and Welspun.
Azure was the only bidder below Rs. 7/kWh, and highest winning bid was at Rs. 7.74/kWh. The complete financial bid results are available at the KREDL website here.
Another RfP for 500 MW was floated by KREDL recently. More details are available here.
Apart from these, KREDL has floated another RfP towards the construction of a 2 MWp Floating Solar Rooftop in Tumkur District.The Rfp can be downloaded at http://kredlinfo.in/.

Are these winning tariff with Accelerated Depreciation benefits or without AD??
Karnataka Govt spex did not have the differentiation of with AD and Without AD tariff??
If these tariff are with AD, then, it is a very high tariff support by Kannadigas to these bidders….
