Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited(APTRANSCO) has released the list of bidders who had submitted their applications in response to the Request for Selection(RfS) of 500 MW projects(details of the RfS available here). The list does not include the capacity of the individual projects or the details of the substations preferred by the bidders.
The RfS has attracted almost all the major solar project developers. Some of the prominent bidders include Jindal Aluminium, Emami Power, Inspira Enterprise, Shapoorji Pallonji(parent company of Sterling & Wilson), SunEdison, GRT Jewellers, First Solar, Azure Power , Waa Solar, Mahindra EPC, ReNew Power, ACME and Adani Enterprises, among others.
Developers like Welspun, PVR Projects and Shri Shakti Alternative Energy had also submitted bids, but APTRANSCO has cited some technical snags which has caused delay in the evaluation of the bids of these developers. The list can be downloaded here.
