India Solar – Rajasthan Overtakes Gujarat in terms of Installed Capacity ; Both States Cross 1 GW Mark

As per the latest statistics released by MNRE, India’s total grid connected solar generation capacity stood at 3883.5 MW(as of 29 May 2015). Seven states had more than 100 MW installed capacity and about 53% of the installed capacity came under state schemes whereas 32% came from MNRE projects and the remaining through the REC route.
